Coffee Fest

So this weekend is the long awaited NY/NJ edition of CoffeeFest. We at TampTamp are very excited for the festivities and hope to see you all there. The two most common questions I get when talking to New York City residents about Coffee Fest is, “It’s in Jersey?!?” and, “How do I get there?”.

Coffee Fest Pre Opening

In order to answer at least the second question, I ventured out to the Meadowlands Exposition Center today.

Take subway train to port authority.
Buy ticket for bus 320 at njtransit ticket booth in south wing. Costs $3.25 each way.
Bus exit is gate 231. Take escalator just west of ticket area up to second floor and the gate is right there.
Take NJTransit 320 bus to meadowlands exposition center at Harmon meadow plaza.
(Ask the driver). Leaves every 15 minutes.
The bus takes about 20 minutes.

TampTamp is also going to be very active at CoffeeFest. First, we are hosting the MARBC 4th Machine! The 4th machine is the espresso machine set up to offer espresso beverages for attendees at the competition. So stop by and have an espresso! We’ll also be competitors: Anne is competing at the Millrock Latte Art competition and I will be competing out of region at the Mid-Atlantic Barista Competition (at noon tomorrow!)

Looking forward to seeing you this weekend!
